This synthetic material hardly absorbs moisture, so it dries quickly and is uv and mildew resistant. The colors do not fade as quickly as cotton The hammock is easy to clean. If hosing it down with a garden hose isn't enough, the lounging surface can even be removed from the wooden spreader bars and washed in the washing machine. The California Lapis blue is reversible, so it can be used on either side. Unlike the other California models, the lying surface of this model has the same color on both sides and the pillow is also lapis blue.
