The Siesta Grande Deluxe is an extra large and high wooden hammock frame. Larch is the European teak and is particularly resistant to the weather. Through rain and sun, the wood works and changes. The layer-glued wood is painted with a special oil for larch wood during production in Europe. This gives the stand the beautiful brown color and maintains the wood. Due to the effects of the weather, the wood becomes grayish and cracked over time. However, this visual change does not negatively affect the stability of the rack.

The wood that was processed for the production of this hammock stand comes from renewable, European forests. In the production process it is layer-glued, bent and oiled. Material and working process make the Siesta Grande a European quality product.

You know larch wood from old wooden shingles, terraces or bridge construction. It turns gray with time. Because this type of wood is particularly weather-resistant, that is, hard and not susceptible to decay, it is popular in Europe for outdoor use. You can maintain the wood with a special oil, so that it does not age so quickly. Anyway, larch is the easier to maintain wood for hammock frames and garden furniture.

The XL stand for extra long hammocks

If you have a 4 meter long hammock without a wooden spreader bar, you need to think about where to hang it. Between two large trees is good, if the distance fits. Otherwise, you need a large frame, but this must also be really high. Cloth hammocks from Brazil, net hammocks from Mexico are usually about four meters long. If you have a double hammock or even family hammock, the lounger is also properly loaded. Due to the weight the hammock gives way and needs space downwards. So beware of hammock stands that are zwaz 4 meters long but only a little over 1 meter high. These stands are only suitable for pole hammocks, because they are simply too low.
